How It Works
1. Bring a cake.
Bring one cake you'd be excited to share with 6–8 people. Homemade or store-bought, fancy or simple — all cakes are welcome.
2. Build your cake box.
We'll have a box ready for everyone. Before we start tasting, you'll add one small tasting slice from each cake to your box. This becomes your personal cake sampler to enjoy during the exchange or take home.
3. Share a slice.
Then we'll gather around the table and taste everything together. Eat from your box, grab another slice from the table, or save your favorites for later. No rules, just cake.
4. Tell us about your cake.
We'll have a few fun conversation prompts to get everyone talking about their cakes, favorite desserts, baking stories, and more.
5. Sip something new.
Since we're spending the afternoon at Millie's, grab a drink you've never tried before and find your favorite cake + drink pairing.
6. Take some cake home.
Whatever you don't finish becomes your take-home stash. Your future self will thank you.

A Few Things to Know
What kind of cake should I bring?
Anything! Homemade or store-bought, layer cake, loaf cake, chiffon, cheesecake, or something completely unexpected, we're not picky. Bring something you genuinely love that can safely be kept at the table during the 90-minute gathering.
How much cake should I bring?
One cake that can be cut into small tasting portions for approximately 6–8 people is perfect. We're tasting, not eating eight full slices at once. 😉
Do I have to bake my cake?
Absolutely not. Store-bought cakes are welcome! But you are welcome to bake a cake that you’ve been wanting to try.
Do I need to bring anything else?
Just your cake, a cake knife or serving utensil, and yourself.
